Tuesday’s game was the third time NSA had faced Cape Henry this year. Each resulted in a loss for the Lady Saints. Prior to the TCIS tournament game, NSA had defeated the Steward School and was hoping to carry that momentum into the post-season.

“I’m really proud of the way we played out there,” Lady Saints’ Lauren Meyers said. “We never gave up, and it was a difficult game to play.”

“I think that we all played really hard and left everything on the field,” Lady Saints’ Sam Williams said. “The final score really doesn’t show how well we played. Cape had some great goals towards the end that were nearly impossible to anticipate. I am proud of the way we played our game and didn’t back down, no matter what the score became.”

The Lady Saints finish the season with a record of 9-11.

“We had a great season, and it was lots of fun,” Lady Saints’ Abby Carlson said. “We had some tough losses, but we had amazing shut-outs as well. All of us are excited to play next year, and we have a lot of potential.”
