Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Anthony Oliphant, senior, Nansemond River football: Oliphant rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-19 homecoming win over King’s Fork.

Shaun Faulk, senior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy football: Faulk rushed for 341 yards and five touchdowns in a 54-0 NSA homecoming victory over Greenbrier Christian.

T.J Hart, junior, King’s Fork High School football: Though the Bulldogs lost Friday night, Hart’s interception that led to a Bulldogs’ score was his ninth of the season and a school record.
