Customers of Bronco Federal Credit Union have been helping the company collect school supplies recently for Franklin’s S.P. Morton Elementary School.
Following on the heels of their successful CANstruction food drive, through which the credit union collected and donated more than 7,000 pounds of food to Franklin Cooperative Ministries, Bronco started a back-to-school loan promotion and collection drive.
Customers who contributed at least five school supply items received up to 0.75 percent APR off their loan rates, company officials stated in a press release.
Local car dealerships Roger Fowler Sales & Service, Mike Duman Auto (Franklin & Suffolk), Blake Ford, and Beach Ford helped support the program for customers they shared with Bronco.
The campaign started Aug. 15 and runs through today. BFCU has already delivered about 370 packages of school supplies items to S.P. Morton Elementary.
