Arlethia D. Simms-Ward, 68, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at her residence. She was the wife of Charlie “CJ” Ward Sr.

Mrs. Ward’s visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m., and a wake service will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Antioch United Christian Church, and she will be laid to rest in the T.E. Cooke-Overton Garden of Carver Memorial Cemetery.
