King’s Fork golf loses to Lakeland

King’s Fork High School lost to the Cavaliers on the links Monday at Sleepy Hole Golf Course.

The Cavaliers outperformed their cross-city rival 425-450. Corey Hasson of Lakeland was the medalist, shooting a 94 on the par 72 course.

Next for the Bulldogs is a match against Deep Creek at Nansemond River Golf Course at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Lakeland next has a match against Oscar Smith at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nansemond River Golf Course.
