To the editor:

I served 31 years in the U.S. Navy, mostly as a naval aviator, defending our beloved America, and the American people, from our enemies, foreign and domestic.

It is unbelievable what is happening to our country, the greatest nation in the history of the world. We are already experiencing tyranny by our federal government, and its current path to Socialism will be suicide for America.

I wonder what has happened to our long-held love and patriotism for the America the Founding Fathers gave us? And why would any American vote for Hillary Clinton as president in view of the unending long list of scandals she has caused through her infinite dishonesty and living hypocrisy?

Is this new America what I and all military veterans chose to give our lives, if necessary, to defend and preserve? What happened to the honesty and greatness of our beloved United States of America?

The latest Clinton/Democratic Party scandal is the Democratic National Committee, headed by Deborah Wasserman Schultz, being caught red-handed via thousands of emails (again) to take actions to destroy Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primaries.

She was fired and was booed off the Democratic Party’s convention stage in Philadelphia. But Clinton claims she had no knowledge of what the national committee was doing. Only a fool would believe that.

Lets get real, people: She is a perpetual liar, highly corrupt, and not even qualified to have a security clearance for our nation’s classified information, because the FBI found that she, as our Secretary of State, was “extremely negligent” in the handling of 110 highly classified documents that she had illegally transferred to her home’s basement.

Under direct questioning by the U.S. Congress, the FBI director agreed that Clinton had lied at least five times to the Congress and to the American people regarding her blatant misconduct as secretary of state.

Without a security clearance how could our future president carry out his or her duties as commander in chief of our military?

Let’s vote for freedom and for America, and not for a political party, or for socialism or for anyone as corrupt as Hillary Clinton.
