Alice H. O’Connor, 87, of Oak Island, died July 26, 2016. She was born in Suffolk and was the daughter of the late Henry Duke and Alice Hosier. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. O’Connor, Jr.; son, Charles Hosier O’Connor; grandson, Thomas J. O’Connor IV; and brother, Charles Taylor Hosier.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Edward Smith; son, Thomas J. O’Connor III; grandchildren, Laura S. and Harper Bradshaw, Sarah S. and Cody McMahan, Sadie H. O’Connor; great-grandchildren Connor and Taylor Bradshaw, Gray and Jane McMahan; and cousin, Elizabeth Gordon.

Alice graduated from Suffolk High School in 1946 and attended Westhampton College.
