Virginia’s wartime casualties listed

There have been a reported 22 Virginia residents killed during combat operations in Afghanistan and other areas of the world as part of the War on Terror. This list does not include any Virginia residents or natives killed in Iraq. Below is a list, compiled from Internet sources, of those killed, along with hometowns and dates of death:
