Herbert Wayne Babb

Herbert Wayne Babb, 57, of Suffolk, passed away April 30, 2016. He was born in Suffolk to the late Clarence Lee Babb Sr. and Shirley Anne Smith Babb. Wayne worked as a countertop specialist for Trindco. He loved painting and restoring cars with family and friends. He was an avid racing fan and was known as the Chevrolet man who owned Mustangs.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 24 years, Susan Babb; daughters, Tabitha Copeland and husband, Joey D. Copeland Jr., and Keaton Friant; two grandchildren, Leslie Copeland and Joshua Copeland; sister, Teresa Roberson and husband, John; brother, Clarence Lee Babb Jr. and wife, Judy; and numerous other family members.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Allen Lancaster officiating.
