Gilbert Earl Kindred

Gilbert Earl Kindred, 45, of 2463 Carolina Road, Suffolk, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, in Newport News. He was a native of Staunton and the son of Earl T. and Mamie L. Kindred.

He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. He was employed at James Trucking in Newport News.

Besides his parents he leaves to cherish his memory his son, Marquis Wilson Kindred, of Suffolk; brother, Timothy Tyrone Hunter, of Suffolk; one grandchild, Madison Adrianna Kindred; maternal grandmother, Lucy Langston, of Gatesville, N.C.; devoted friend, Marty Holden; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at King Grove Pentecostal Church, 6300 Old Myrtle Road, Suffolk, officiated by Bishop John H. Kindred.
