The suspect in a triple homicide in North Carolina over Easter weekend was arrested Friday in Suffolk.

Darius Revel Robinson, 24, was arrested without incident about 8:25 p.m. near the intersection of North Main and Prentis streets, according to Federal Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Christina Pullen. She said members of the FBI Tidewater Violent Crimes Task Force, FBI Norfolk SWAT and Suffolk Police Department made the arrest on a federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Darius Robinson had been on the run since March 26, when authorities allege he shot and killed Keisha Livingston, Shemare Malik Harris and Diana Edgerton at Livingston’s home in Franklin County, N.C., The Franklin Times reported.

Livingston, 36, and Harris, 18, died on the scene, and Edgerton was pronounced dead at a North Carolina hospital, The Franklin Times reported. A fourth person, described as a woman in her late 40s, was shot at but not injured.

Robinson has a history of assaults, shooting and robberies going back several years, The Franklin Times reported. The newspaper said he was most recently released from prison in November 2015, after serving a year and a month for his role in a March 2014 home invasion.

The Franklin Times also reported Robinson was involved in a shooting incident in November 2012 and another home invasion in March 2009, when he was only 17.

Robinson is being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail until he is extradited by North Carolina, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.
