Kenyon Lamont “Fee Fee” Harris, 43, was arrested at Norfolk International Airport on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

At about 2 a.m. on Nov. 26, Thanksgiving Day, Portsmouth Police were called to a shooting in the 300 block of High Street in that city. Terrence L. Hoggard, 23, of Suffolk, was found outside the restaurant, suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to a press release from the Marshals Service. A second male victim also suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The Portsmouth Police Department issued warrants against Harris on Dec. 18 for first-degree murder, malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force was called to help locate Harris in January, and officials soon determined he was no longer living at his residence in Winfall, N.C., according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Leuer.

The task force determined on Wednesday that Harris was on an airplane headed to Norfolk International Airport from Charlotte, N.C. Members of the task force responded to the airport in Norfolk and, with the help of the Norfolk Airport Authority Police Department, apprehended Harris without incident, according to the release.

Harris is being held at the Portsmouth City Jail.
