Mary E. Goodman, 71, of Hawk Lane, transitioned March 1, 2016, at her residence. She is the daughter of the late Mary E. Goodman and Paul C. Goodman Sr. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky R. Goodman, and brother, James L. Brown. She was a member of Friendship C.O.G.I.C.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Cynthia Goodman McLaughlin (Calvin — deceased), four sons, Clarence B. Goodman, Shelby W. Goodman, Thomas L. Goodman and Kevin O. Goodman; three sisters, Forence E. Staggs (Felix), Florine M. Goodman and Pauline Walker (Andrew); three brothers, Paul C. Goodman Jr., Eugene Goodman (Gloria) and William G. Goodman; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Friendship Cathedral C.O.G.I.C., 5511 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk. Dr. Chas will be the eulogist. She will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery. Condolences to the Goodman family may be extended to www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
