Franklin Southampton Economic Development Inc. has announced the official name change of the former Franklin Business Incubator to the Franklin Business Center.
This announcement comes after a unanimous vote in favor of the change from Franklin City Council members. Based upon requests from current clients to consider renaming the building due to “incubator” being a commonly misunderstood jargon term, Franklin Southampton Economic Development Inc. supported the name change process from start to finish.
Although the original name of the building has changed to the Franklin Business Center, the same programs and services will be offered to entrepreneurs who are in need of affordable professional office space and business support.
The Franklin Business Center will continue to operate under its current model and will continue to offer competitive rent (starting at $82 per month) and numerous other services perfect for any start up or expanding business.
The Franklin Business Center has taken on a new branding strategy, including a new logo and tagline with its signature lime green color. The new brand was launched in an effort to appeal to a variety of entrepreneurs and business owners, from the young start-up to the expanding small business.
