Residents of Lake Prince Woods retirement community in Suffolk will be participating with senior adults from across the country in Seniors Decide 2016 on Wednesday.
Seniors Decide 2016 is a forum developed by the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations that will feature presidential candidates sharing their views on policies and programs affecting older Americans.
The forum will be held at George Mason University in Arlington. Attendance at the actual event is by invitation only, but LCOA is providing both a streaming webcast and a platform for social media before, during and after the forum, so people across the country can view the forum live.
Lake Prince Woods residents and other interested senior adults from Suffolk can watch the webcast at 1 p.m. in the Portsmouth Center on the Lake Prince Woods campus. Participants can submit questions to the candidates prior to the event by visiting www.seniorsdecide.org.
There is no charge to attend the event, but a reservation is requested by calling Susan Stone at 923-5511.
