TowneBank has announced two staff changes at its headquarters in Harbour View.

Peggy Murphy, a senior credit analyst, has joined as a vice president, and Chad Marshall, part of the bank’s credit review team, has been promoted to vice president.

Murphy has worked for 28 years in the automotive industry and is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

Active in the community, she serves as president of the Portsmouth Partnership Board and as a Lefcoe Leadership Trustee. She’s also on the finance council at St. Paul Catholic Church in Portsmouth.

Marshall has been with TowneBank for 10 years. He is a graduate of James Madison University and TowneBank’s management associate program. He’s also a 2009 graduate of the VBA School of Bank Management.

In the community, Marshall volunteers with the Virginia Beach SPCA, Edmarc Hospice for Children and Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve.
