Police investigate armed robbery

Suffolk police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday at the Family Dollar in the 800 block of West Constance Road.
The robbery was reported at 9:53 p.m. The offenders, both black males, entered the store brandishing firearms and demanding money, according to a city press release. They fled on foot after receiving an undetermined amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
One suspect was described as wearing all dark clothing, including a black jacket with a hood pulled up over his head and a bandanna covering his face. The second suspect was wearing gray pants with a dark jacket and a dark-colored mask covering his head and face.
