Police investigate armed robbery

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a subject wanted for an armed robbery on Dec. 30 in the 1000 block of University Boulevard.
The incident happened shortly before 6:20 p.m., when the incident was reported. The male victim said the suspect displayed a handgun and took his wallet. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black male with a slim build, mid to late 20s, wearing a varsity-style jacket with black sleeves and a gray body with a white logo on the front and back. He also was wearing jeans and a dark ball cap with a single letter on the front. He was believed to have fled the area on foot.
