StoneBridge takes fifth in PCHS tourney

The StoneBridge School boys’ basketball team took fifth place in the Peninsula Catholic High School Holiday Classic on Wednesday with a 77-70 win against Summit Christian Academy.
Cavaliers junior guard/forward Terrick Philpot poured in 28 points, junior guard Shaun Faulk added 27 points and junior forward/center Jamal Frank had 15 points and 17 rebounds.
The Eagles were led by sophomore guard Malachi Banks and freshman guard T.J. Lawrence, who scored 17 points apiece.
StoneBridge went 2-1 during Peninsula Catholic’s three-day tournament.
The Cavaliers (8-3) host Isle of Wight Academy (4-5) on Tuesday.
