A Suffolk man has been arrested on two misdemeanor charges after an incident that occurred earlier this month.

Travis Ulysses Smith-George Jr., 19, is charged with obscene sexual display and indecent exposure, city spokesman Tim Kelley said.

On Dec. 2, officers were called to the Food Lion in the 3200 block of Bridge Road about 2:35 p.m. An adult female reported that an adult male was observed masturbating in his vehicle in the parking lot, Kelley said.

Officers were unable to locate the vehicle or the subject but later were able to issue warrants for Smith-George. He was arrested Monday.
