StoneBridge tops Ambassadors

The StoneBridge School boys’ basketball team defeated visiting Norfolk Christian School 70-51 on Saturday.

Terrick Philpott of the Cavaliers recorded 25 points, while Jamal Frank registered 18 points and eight rebounds.

Barry Brown of the Ambassadors led all scorers with 34 points.

StoneBridge is scheduled to return to the court for the Portsmouth Christian Holiday Classic set for Dec. 17 and 18.

The Cavaliers are also slated to participate in the Peninsula Holiday Tournament set to run Dec. 28-30.
