Nephie Ann Griggs, 84, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 23, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Mildred G. and Ned T. Cross. Nephie worked at Lakeview Medical Center for more than 30 years as an insurance clerk.

She is survived by her aunt, Barbara Griggs; special nephew, Charles Gordon McKenzie III and wife, Jane; cousin, Katherine Patram; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Michael D. Halley. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Suffolk, is serving the family. Condolences may be registered at www.RWBakerFH.com.
