Motorists in the downtown area can expect tidal flooding at the Kimberly Bridge during Tuesday and Wednesday morning’s high tide, according to a city press release.

Gusty northeast to east winds, building seas and high astronomical tides will result in the flooding in the 700 block of North Main Street.

High tide is expected at 11 a.m. Tuesday and noon Wednesday. Flooding could occur for two hours on either side of the high tide, according to the city press release.

The road will be closed if it becomes impassable.
