The Lakeland High School boys’ volleyball team defeated host Denbigh High School on Tuesday in straight sets, 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Josh Bennett of the Cavaliers had seven kills, three blocks and three aces, Joe Crowell registered six blocks, Kyle Stuart produced five aces, 13 assists and one kill, Hunter Rawls recorded three kills, three blocks and three aces and Peter Bowyer had five digs.

Lakeland coach Tarijuana Napoleon stated the Cavaliers played pretty well with the exception of service errors.

Denbigh will visit Lakeland on Thursday for a rematch.
