The King’s Fork High School field hockey team went to overtime tied 0-0 against visiting Deep Creek High School on Wednesday and emerged victorious when Nia Vargas of the Lady Bulldogs scored with three minutes remaining.

King’s Fork coach Darcy Pinchbeck praised the play of Jadice Baker, who she noted saved two goals from the mouth of the goal.

The Lady Bulldogs (2-9-1, 2-2-1) hosts Great Bridge High School on Thursday afternoon.
