Only days after having been signed to the Baltimore Ravens’ 10-man practice squad, former Isle of Wight Academy football star Daniel Brown was released on Thursday.

The move was made to allow the Ravens to sign cornerback Asa Jackson.

Given Brown’s preseason play, which included two touchdown receptions and a blocked punt, he could catch on with another team, or the Ravens could decide to bring him back at some point in the future.
