Scouts and scouters from Cub Scout Pack 89, Boy Scout Troop 16 and Chanco and Wahunsenakah lodges of the Order of the Arrow presented a memorial brass plaque honoring Troop 41 long time Scoutmaster Larry Willis to his wife, Mary Lee, and family in a recent ceremony.

Mrs. Willis in turn presented the plaque to Troop 41 scoutmaster Robert Locke to be mounted on the troop’s Scout Hut wall as a memento of Larry’s years of service to Scouting and the Scouts and scouters in the Colonial Trail District.

Larry Willis was scoutmaster of Troop 41 for more than 49 years and positively affected the lives of countless Scouts and scouters in the Colonial Trail District of the Boy Scouts of America.
