The Suffolk Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating a missing endangered woman.
Mary Lizzie Pittman, 76, was reported missing by family members Monday afternoon, according to a city press release. She was last seen two weeks ago, on Monday, Aug. 3, getting into a black Mercedes SUV in the 2000 block of North Main Street about 2:30 p.m. She was not in distress at the time, but the family has had no contact with her since that date, according to a city press release.
Pittman is black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 to 160 pounds, with all gray hair and brown eyes, according to the press release. She wears glasses. The accompanying photo is several years old but is the most recent available.
Pittman suffers from a number of medical conditions and requires medications.
Anyone who sees her is asked not to approach her but to call 911 immediately.
