Two join The Crossings staff

The Crossings at Harbour View, a senior living community scheduled to open this summer, has named two new employees to its staff.
Hiram Thompson has been named move-in coordinator and Holly Wells has been named program director.
A native of Georgia, Thompson is a graduate of Norfolk State University and a veteran of the United States Navy, having served aboard the USS Nimitz, USS John F. Kennedy and the USS George Washington.
He was based in Norfolk, San Diego and Washington, D.C., and completed his service at the rank of commander.
As move-in coordinator, Thompson is responsible for assisting new residents and their families with all facets of the experience, from paperwork to the physical move.
Wells will be responsible for the welfare and healthy adjustment of the residents to their new home, developing social, spiritual, recreational and educational content and activities.
A native of Hampton Roads and a graduate of the University of Virginia, Wells spent 20 years in the banking industry before transitioning to senior living, where she has worked in a variety of capacities. She is also a regular volunteer with senior activities in the region.
The Crossings at Harbour View will include 90 independent living, 63 assisted living, and 21 memory care apartments.
