Lila D. Watson, 88, passed away on June 28, 2015, in Suffolk. Born in North Carolina, she was the widow of Garlon M. Watson, husband of 54 years, and was the daughter of the late Clem and Zada L. Dixon. Lila was a member of Windsor Congregational Christian Church and had a love for gardening and cooking.

Survivors include her son, Stanley Watson and wife, Donna, of Windsor; daughters, Wanda Hall and husband, Les, of Suffolk, Jill Copeland and husband, Steve, of Windsor; grandchildren, Heather, Holly and Charles Watson, Cristin Pond, Jordan Hall, Dana Christensen, Ryan Copeland; great-grandchild, Zoe Christensen; and was eagerly awaiting a second great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 1 p.m. in Windsor Congregational Christian Church, 4 N. Court St., Windsor, by the Rev. John Faulk and the Rev. Basil Ballard with burial following in Windsor Cemetery. A reception will follow at her residence. Memorial donations may be made to Windsor Congregational Christian Church Building Fund, P.O.
