Suffolk police are investigating an accident where a male juvenile fell from a moving vehicle on Wednesday evening.

The accident happened in the parking lot of Hoffler Apartments in the 2200 block of East Washington Street. It was reported at 7:18 p.m., and the first units arrived three minutes later, according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.

The juvenile jumped onto the side rails of a moving Chevrolet Tahoe, then fell to the ground, according to Klink.

The victim was taken by ground ambulance to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment of injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
