Myra Clementine Outlaw-Waters

Myra Clementine Outlaw-Waters, 63, peacefully transitioned on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 4, 1951, to the late William F. Caine and Retha Savage in Suffolk.

Myra was a 1969 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, and she later retired from Berry Plastic after 26 ½ years of service.

She was a devoted and active member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church until her time of death.

Myra leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Deacon John C. Waters; six children, David Outlaw III, Tracey Parker (Glenn), Shawn Outlaw, Stacey Waters, Tammy Waters and Kelly Goodman (Paul); two sisters, Belinda Caine and Sheila McLellan; grandchildren, Shayla, Kayla, Dontorus and A’zaar; and many great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ms. Outlaw will be on view from noon to 6 p.m., and a wake service will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 17 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church, and she will be laid to rest at Johnson Cemetery.
