Lady Saints go 2-0 against Christchurch

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ lacrosse team has now recorded two blowout wins against Christchurch School this season.
After hosting the Lady Seahorses and dealing them an 18-5 loss on March 24, the Lady Saints visited Christchurch on Thursday and left with a 16-3 victory.
Senior midfielder Jessie Lerner, who scored nine goals on the Lady Seahorses in the prior game, piled up six this time. Additionally, senior midfielders Sarah Higinbotham and Holly Kozak had three apiece, eighth-grade attacker Alex Bivins had two and eighth-grade attacker Kate Dewing and eighth-grade midfielder Anne Thomas Brinkley each had one.
NSA senior goalkeeper Lizzy Fowler registered three saves.
Nansemond-Suffolk hosts Norfolk Collegiate School on Tuesday.
