A Suffolk woman was arrested Thursday and charged with two crimes related to a January incident.

Averil Michelle Riddick, 37, is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and obstructing justice, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

On Jan. 23, a female juvenile runaway allegedly was located at Riddick’s apartment in the 2500 block of East Washington St., Klink said. Riddick also allegedly denied the girl was at the premises.

The girl was located inside the apartment and returned to her mother, Klink said.
