Virgie Manley Alston, 65, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at VCU Medical Center in Richmond. She was born to the late David and Dorothy Manley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvie Alston; sister, Evelyn; and brother, Amos Manley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Elvis and Jeffrey Manley; grandson, Dontae Wilkins; three sisters and seven brothers; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at noon, Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 613 Cummings Drive, Suffolk. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
