There were eight boats with 13 anglers fishing on Sunday in the Suffolk Singles Doubles Tournament, which took place this time at Lake Burnt Mills.

James Williams and Russ Hall, both of Newport News, took first, catching five bass that weighed in at 12.86 pounds.

Cory Hamilton and Jason Sawyer, both of Chesapeake, placed second after catching five bass that weighed in at 8.76 pounds.

David Holland and Mike Rust, both of Suffolk, earned the big fish of the day honor, catching a 4.78-pounder.
