He was born July 19, 1935, in Suffolk, formerly known as Nansemond County, to Isaac Jones Sr. and Mrs. Ola Mae Haughton.

He was once married to Mrs. Joselean Jones, of Suffolk.
He was preceded in death by his two daughters, Wilhilmina Evora Jones and Millicient Yvette Campbell, along with one great-grandchild, Josiah Mekhi Epps.

Also, he leaves his one and only loving, caring and devoted sister, Lucille Hodges, his adopted sister, Emily Crocker, both of Suffolk; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. There are a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
