Lady Bulldogs top NRHS in four sets

The visiting King’s Fork High School girls’ volleyball team delivered a loss to cross-town rival Nansemond River High School on Tuesday, 25-13, 23-25, 25-17, 25-19.
The Lady Bulldogs were led by junior middle hitter Jazlyn Dunn with 11 kills, followed by senior outside hitter Taylor Harrell, who had seven kills. KF sophomore setter Cydney Nichols recorded 16 assists to go with four kills and four aces.
King’s Fork (6-5, 2-0) visited Oscar Smith High School on Thursday evening.
