Robert Clinton Hargrove

Robert C. Hargrove, 57, of 6937 Crittenden Road, Suffolk, died on July 7, 2014, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was the son of Dorothy J. Hargrove and the late Robert C. Hargrove. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dorothy Hargrove, of Suffolk; his daughter, La-Quisha Hill, of Portsmouth; his sons, Jerel Hargrove and Raekwon Hill, of Suffolk; two brothers, Roger Hargrove (China) and James Hargrove (Bernadette); one sister, Dianette Ferguson (Joseph), all of Suffolk; two aunts, Amelia Thomas and Ida Mann (adopted mom); one uncle, James E. Jones (Mae), of Newark N.J.; a lifelong companion, Charlotte Hill; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 11, 2014, at Diamond Grove Baptist Church, Crittenden Road, Suffolk, officiated by Rev. Calvin Little. Interment will be in the Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
