Police seek theft suspect

Police are seeking the public’s assistance locating a suspect who used a stolen debit card at a Walmart in Suffolk.
The suspect reportedly purchased a gift card using the stolen debit card at the College Drive Walmart about 3:31 a.m. The debit card was reported stolen by the victim later that same morning after he discovered it missing from his vehicle.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s to mid-30s, wearing a baseball hat, eyeglasses, a white shirt, black pants and dress shoes. He left in a red, four-door sedan.
Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
