Burning smell on East Washington Street closes road

Suffolk Fire and Rescue and Suffolk Police continues to work the scene of an electrical burning smell in the 100 block of East Washington Street.
The burning smell was detected on the second floor of Suffolk Antiques at 3:04 p.m.
The street is closed between Pinner and North Main streets as Fire and Rescue personnel, Planning and Community Development inspectors and Dominion Virginia Power staff work to locate the source.
