A King’s Fork Middle School student has been suspended and recommended for an expulsion hearing after allegedly bringing a BB gun to school, according to the school district and the city.

The boy brought the BB gun to school in his book bag Wednesday, city spokeswoman Diana Klink wrote in an email.

“No students were injured, and the weapon was never displayed in a threatening manner,” she wrote.
