Heritage High School’s softball team was utterly defeated on Tuesday by visiting King’s Fork High School with a final score of 42-0.
“It was a no-win situation,” KF head coach Richard Froemel said, noting full effort was made to keep the score from being lopsided, but that it was difficult when the Lady Hurricanes committed 13 errors.
The Lady Bulldogs scored 14 runs in the first inning of the mercy rule-shortened game. Junior Sydney Wash got the win on the mound.
King’s Fork hosts Phoebus High School today.
