Alex Ernest Manning

Alex Ernest Manning, 73, passed away April 8, 2014. He was the son of the late Ida Bea Rawls Manning and King David Manning Sr. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served as a staff sergeant during the Vietnam War.

Alex is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Lue Manning; six sons; four grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Samantha Pelkey and Logan Pelkey; and brother, Charles C. Manning.

A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. David Nicholes officiating.  Friends may join the family other times at the residence. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
