Triple T boys bring home medals

Triple T Boys Gymnastics found success at the 2014 Virginia State Boy’s Gymnastics Championship on March 8-9 at the Nova Field House in Chantilly. More than 400 athletes competed, and Triple T Boys had nine different athletes place in the top 10 in various events.
Israel Lewis, a Level 4, was state champion on the pommel horse and also placed third in rings, third in high bar, third in all-around, sixth in floor and sixth in vault.
James Bishop, a Level 5, was state champion on the vault.
Other athletes finishing in the top 10 in at least one event were:
- Kaliyn Phillips, Level 10: second vault, fourth high bar, sixth all-around
- Donovan Lott, Level 5: fourth vault, eighth floor, 10th parallel bars
- Joshua Romero, Level 4: seventh pommel horse, ninth rings, 10th floor
- Victor Hill, Level 4: sixth floor
- Phoenix Ellis, Level 4: ninth floor
- Charlie Fellers, Level 4: ninth floor
- Jayson Lunsford, Level 4: 10th pommel
