The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team crushed host Atlantic Shores Christian School on Monday by the score of 14-2 in five innings.

Lady Saints eighth grader Emily “EJ” Bankson got the win on the mound.

NSA was impressively effective on offense. Eighth grader Dani Goodman went 3-for-3, senior Macy Mears went 3-for-4, sophomore Brooklyne Carr went 2-for-2 and freshman Delaney Taylor went 2-for-3.

Nansemond-Suffolk (2-1, 0-0) visits Isle of Wight Academy Thursday afternoon.
