Police responding to a fight on Friday afternoon made an arrest on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance.

Naomi Nichelle Lambert, 22, of the 100 block of North Capital Street, faces the charge relating to the alleged illegal sale of alcoholic beverages on the premises and allowing others to distribute marijuana, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said in a press release.

The original call came at 5:19 p.m. Friday. Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence and obtained a search warrant, Klink said.
