Host Tidewater Academy found itself on the receiving end of a 12-1 loss to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s baseball team on Friday afternoon.

The Saints’ Spencer Ambrose picked up the win on the mound, allowing only two hits in four innings pitched.

On offense, NSA’s Mitchell Williams was 2-for-2 with a home run and three runs batted in. Ethan Stewart had two RBIs.

The Saints gear up for a doubleheader today at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. against visiting Atlantic Shores Christian School.
