Sandra Anita Cobb, 52, of 205 N. Lloyd St., Suffolk, died Friday, March 7, 2014, at her residence. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Robert Lee Cobb Jr. and Sylvia Adkins Cobb.

She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in 1979. She was a sales associate and cashier at Hecht’s (Macy’s) and Miller Mart until her health declined in 2013. Sandra was a former member of St. Timothy Baptist Church, where she was a member of the usher board and young adult choir.

She leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Robert Lee Cobb III (Hattie), of Suffolk, and Irving Sidney Cobb, of Oakland, Calif.; uncle, Otis Adkins; godson, George E. Smith Jr.; several cousins and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. There will be no public viewing. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
