Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance finding a man who robbed a Family Dollar store on Saturday.

The suspect entered the store in the 800 block of West Constance Road just before 9 p.m. He displayed a black handgun to the clerks and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. No one was injured.

He is described as a light-skinned black male wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans and a black spandex facial covering and sunglasses.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
